NurseryWe thank our many volunteers who serve with Tina Pack, our full-time nursery staff, in the nursery
and crib rooms. The volunteers continue to nurture the children spiritually as well as care for them. |
Sunday SchoolSunday School remains our primary vehicle for Christian Education for children and youth. Classes
meet weekly, September through May. Dedicated teachers, many of whom have been serving for a number of
years, work hard to provide informative and interesting educational environments. Sunday School teachers
have a crucial role in a child's faith development, and we're fortunate to have a teaching staff full of
people willing to give of themselves in this important ministry. |
Vacation Bible SchoolVacation Bible School is a summertime activity for youth of all ages, including some of our "older" group. A nourishing meal and several fun activities, with singing, crafts, movies, and bible study. |

YouthAmong the activities enjoyed by our high and middle school youth were a scavenger hunt, making and
decorating cookies, Super Bowl party, bowling, taco party, Easter Egg hunt, treasure hunt, "Sundae" party,
luau/swim party, haunt the halls, Winter Olympics & goofy games. |
Junior Church/Worship WorkshopThis has been in place for about four years. It attempts two things: first, it is an opportunity for the
children of the church to build a relationship in a less formal worship service. Second, it
replaces the least child-accessible part of our worship service - the adult sermon - with a message and
related activities at the grade school level. |
