Taize' Prayer Service:
On the last Sunday of each month at 6:00 P.M. we are hosting a Taize' Prayer Service for our congregation and the community.
What is Taize Prayer? It is based on an ancient Christian principle expressed by Brother Roger, a founding member of the Taize' community in France: "nothing is more conducive to a communion with the living God than a meditative common prayer with, as its high point, singing that never ends and that continues in the silence of one's heart when one is alone again." This community is the only Protestant monastary in the world. They worship by prayer, music and silence primarily. It is a service involving the mysterious in a candlelight setting, very peaceful and allows for your connection to God. Please join us the last Sunday of each month for this unique prayer service.
