Adult Ministries

Men's Breakfast

Approximately 12-15 men meet for breakfast on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 am in Room 204, September through June. Each month one member brings food, and another leads a discussion. All men of the church are invited to an hour of fun, interesting discussions and a healthy breakfast, all for only $1.00.

Christian Women's Fellowship

Christian Women's Fellowship meets at 12:30 pm the second Wednesday of the month at the church for a catered luncheon, devotions and a program. All women and men are welcome to attend, but must please RSVP by the Sunday before the meeting. The group participates in The Fellowship of the Least Coin and American Leprosy Missions, offering their pennies and dimes.

39 & Holding

If you admit to being 39 years of age "and holding," you are welcome to come on the third Thursday of each month in Christian fellowship. Delightful and different types of dinners are prepared by the members. (Two to four members furnish the main dish and the rest of us bring a special dish to share.) A variety of after-dinner programs are enjoyed by the group. A small donation is collected to help cover the cost of the main dish and from the "extra monies" we donate to local charities.

Afternoon Circle

Afternoon Circle meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 12:30 pm in members' homes or the Williamsburg Room at the church. This year's Bible Study, John, was taken from Horizons Magazine. The group also participates in The Fellowship of the Least Coin and American Leprosy Missions, offering their pennies and dimes. The meetings are open to all ladies who would like to join us.

Adult Education

Among the classes offered in 2008 are:
January 27, 2008.  This Sunday and for the following four we will be finishing up our study of the Book of Revelations, which is Jesus' message about not only the end of times but how to worship Him and live for him now.  We look at His sacrifice for us and also what the final judgment, the marriage feast of the lamb, and the rewards of heaven mean to us when we think of His immanent return and our being with Him for eternity.

In the lessons, we will see biblical principals that we can apply to our own lives:

  • Be a model of faith for others to imitate.
  • Encourage fellow Christians with the promise of Christ's return.
  • Find courage and strength in the Lord during hard times.
  • Be equipped to live your faith in a hostile world.
  • We worship a glorious, holy, and powerful God.
  • No one is excluded from God's offer of salvation.
  • The Hour of God's judgment is coming.
